There are plenty of pubs the same shape and size as this one closer to the middle of London, but so many of them have been spruced up in a bid to attract a wider clientele. Here you have a pub that looks like it's been pretty much left alone. It's just an old style back street pub that hasn't had too much done to it. It's a small affair, conducive to pint fueled conversation. Unremarkable a few years back, but what with its near neighbours being a Rat & Parrot and a cheap and somewhat cheerless Goose, it suddenly looks a lot more precious.
