Is this a gastropub or just a pub with a restaurant attached? However you describe it the separation of pub from dining area here means you're not getting in the way of the diners and vice versa. Whereas most pubs limit the reggae they play to having Bob Marley's 'Legend' on the juke box, so it's nice to find a place rather more in thrall to lesser known Jamaican artists. Covers of classic reggae albums adorn the walls, and on our visit some Ska and rock steady sounds were being aired. It certainly adds to the relaxed air of the place. There was a wide selection of lagers - Bitburger, Grolsch, Stella, Hoegaarden and others, and also nice to see two Adnams beers on tap (and tasting fine). We still can't vouch for the Dining Room (nor the Salusbury's organic food shop down the road), but the pub part of the equation works well.
