how to find it:

Turn right out of Farringdon Station, cross Farringdon Road and walk up Greville Street. Turn right into Saffron Street and the pub is just in front of you on the left.

A decent enough office pub serving a few beers on the hand pumps - Adnam's, IPA and Black Sheep, last time we were in - and the usual range of gas-propelled beers on tap plus wines and spirits. There's also Thai food available all day and a plenty of TVs scattered around for sporting occasions, it's a pretty unremarkable pub, but it always has a full complement of regulars from the offices around who seem to be happy enough (especially on Friday nights). The function room upstairs can be hired.
