how to find it:

From Kilburn turn right and head down Kilburn High Road until you find the pub on the right hand side of the road. From Kilburn Park, turn left and then left again onto Kilburn High Road. Keep going until you find the pub on the same side of the road.

picture of The Cock TavernIt's not the worst pub we've ever seen, but it is one of the most depressing. Although it's a grand looking building and a recent refurbishment means it is nowhere near as filthy as before, a good number of shambolic and melancholic drunks still drained our will to enjoy life, let alone a pint. As you would expect in Kilburn there is a large Irish contingent, in fact the pub celebrates its famous Irish links, but here they all speak the international language of hopelessness.
