This pub situated in St. Katharine's Dock, is next to one of the biggest tourist attractions in London and, consequently, has a huge number of visitors. As a result, we hardly ever venture near the place. It has two restaurants (one's a pizza place), a large terrace (not as big as it used to be since the residents complained) that closes at 9:45 (for the same reason). The building itself was once the structure of a brewery, which was then incorporated into a spice warehouse and subsequently restyled as a coaching inn, when it reopened as a pub in the 1970s. The location is great, picturesque and historic, and everyone else seems to think so too - this pub is just too crowded for our tastes.
