how to find it:

Turn right out of Holborn Tube and walk east along High Holborn towards the city. It's on the corner of the first road you come to on your left. From Chancery Lane, walk along High Holborn towards the West End. It's on your right before you get to Holborn tube.

picture of Old Red LionA pretty decent place, with a good, well-kept range of Greene King beers. The service is prompt and friendly and there's an upstairs bar, you can escape to if it gets crowded downstairs. The building itself, is a fine old Victorian pub that's been well looked after and worth a popping into, if you're in the area.
