how to find it:

Leave Notting Hill tube go east to the junction with Kensington Church Street and turn right down it. Walk down about five minutes and the pub is on your right. From High Street Kensington: turn right and then left up Kensington Church Street. Walk up for about five or ten minutes and the pub will be on your left.

One of the great pubs in London and it's been consistently one of the greats for a long, long time. You get a good pint of Fullers, one of the best pints of Guinness around town, traditional food and one of the first (if not the first) pubs to serve Thai food. Eclectic decoration and winner of the 'Boozers on Bloom' award, a mixed clientele and a genial landlord go together to make one of the best pubs in London. And they keep winning awards, receiving Fuller's coveted Griffin Award for the third time and Stella's "Love Your Local" award. The only downside, if there is one, is that so many people have cottoned on to the Churchill, that it gets very crowded, especially if you want to eat. Still, if they're open, what are you hanging around for?
