picture of Hanbury Arms
One an N1 offshoot of The Social in the West End, this one's been relaunched as The Hanbury Arms, its original name (as indicated by the name plate on the exterior). Built way back when as one of the Charrington's brewery's pubs, this one still retains a fine wooden interior which is conducing enough to sink a couple of drinks in. As for the USP, the new owners are going for a pub which specialises in stone baked pizzas, an ethos shared with this one's sister pubs The Lauriston and The Regent. We haven't had a chance to try the selections yet, spending most of the time on our visit admiring the classic jukebox and the selections therein. We wish the new pub well, and hope it can attract a clientele to a rather quiet - for pubs - part of north London.

Took my family here for lunch last week. The pizza's were lovely and the kids menu was welcome and reasonably priced, there were also toys and games to keep them occupied too!

Went to see the Liverpool v Arsenal game here on the recommendation of a friend. The HD projector is amazing and tbh didn't know HD projector's existed. Nice chilled out vibe and the pizza is pretty dam good. It's cooked in some sort of wood fire oven. Worth a visit.

Really great new pub! Extensive selection of lager and ales, delicious stone-baked pizza and a free juke box too! Upstairs function room has a piano and a pool table and shows all the football you could wish for in HD! My home away from home!
