how to find it:

The pub is on the stretch of Green Lanes between Wood Green and Palmers Green. It's slightly closer to the Palmers Green end. Best bet is a bus from either Wood Green or Palmers Green.

Its front is the colour of an alcopop but this one still has the stylings of a normal suburban pub: pool table, big screen for the sport, cheap pub grub menu. It's hardly one to make a beeline for, though the punters seemed happy enough if not particularly the sort of people you'd expect to find in a pub painted aquamarine.

A blokes pub run by women. Gents toilets OK, ladies (I am told) a disaster. Real ale is Bombadier and Theakstons(1.65p a pint). Good windows to watch the people & traffic on Green Lanes go by (wait for the occasional accident). Also has free wifi.
