It's nice to see some things don't change and this hasn't changed. The mix 'n' match wooden tables and chairs are de rigueur for this gastro conversion, this one's still a pub first and foremost. One thing you can count on is that it usually has decent beers on tap and they're well kept. The excellent food is reasonably priced, if a bit gastro, and a proper coffee contraption takes up one end of the bar. There's a nice sun trap at the side too, for the occasional, pleasant evening drink. It's also got a function room that's available to hire, with a large telly in it, but they only show big games on terrestrial as there's not enough demand for the pub to fork out for Sky, even though it's close to Earls Court for a pre-concert/post-exhibition drink and accordingly busy. It is popular in the evenings - the outside has an awning which they use at nights to double their space. Definitely worth a visit. The only complaint we've heard is that they don't do bubbly by the glass - well, if you're that tight...

Eating at The Atlas ... we last ate here on 02/05/2007

Excellent choclate-almond tart and very reasonable gastro menu. Also good is the spicy sausage sandwich on ciabatta. Just about everything on the menu's worth it.
