picture of The TelegraphInstalled in one of a bunch of buildings, arranged according to a medieval street plan, this "modern" bar is where Fuller's take on All Bar One, head-to-head. The ales, beers, wines, staff and clientele are slightly more upmarket, than those of its rivals, and it must be said, so are the prices. The atmosphere is correspondingly more refined, but not overly appealing. And it's obvious where they make their money as the majority of the pub was set for food at lunchtime when we went in last. You can still get a drink, and there are Fuller's beers on, but it's not strictly that kind of place. If you're looking for a modern take on the City wine bars of old, this might be for you.
