how to find it:

Turn right out of Fulham Broadway tube and carry on following the fork right (off the main road). When you get to the end of Vanston Place, you should see the pub across the main road in front of you.

In our opinion, the Cock & Hen's stepped back a little bit, losing a touch of the up-to-date modern feel that the Cock and Hen had while a freehouse - it feels more like a traditional pub again. At least it did on a cold winter evening with a fire in the fireplace. The Young's beers on tap were pleasant enough - we're always fond of a bit of Winter Warmer - and the menu is good decent food, leaning towards gastro, but not quite. The staff were friendly and attentive, which we always like in a pub, and the regulars and locals were convivially throwing darts at the dart board. It's doing okay and we're glad it didn't change beyond all recognition.

Eating at the Cock & Hen ... we last ate here on 26/11/2009

All their beef comes from Exmoor and the produce in general is sourced from the West Country. The burger we had last time was brilliant - one of the best we've had in a long time. Oh, and Wednesday is Burger night - 2 for the price of 1!
