how to find it:

From Westbourne Park, turn right down Great Western Road. Take the second right (Westbourne Park Road), then take the left into Ledbury Road. The Pub's a few minutes down the road on your left.From Notting Hill tube, follow the signs towards Portobello Road, but stay on Pembridge Road and follow the road round until you get to Chepstow Crescent (4th or 5th on the left). Continue along Chepstow Crescent which becomes Ledbury Road (at the junction with Chepstow Villas). The pub will be a short way up the road on the right.

Now the crowds have died down, it seems a lot friendlier and much more of a locals' place. Beer is not bad, the Thai food is very good and not too expensive, and the wine list pretty reasonable.
