Pubs named after early twentieth century female social campaigners are few and far between, so the retitling of this one certainly makes it stand out from the crowd. We're not sure if the lady in question was much of a frequenter of alehouses in her day - we're pretty certain she wasn't - but next time we're around Archway we'll stop by this one, raise in a glass in her memory and report back on what the pub offers.
