From Peckham Rye BR: Turn right along Rye Lane and keep walking. When you come to the roundabout, head straight on past the Heaton Arms and on to Peckham Rye. You'll soon see the pub on your left.

One of the better pub renovations we've come across of late. Even though the furnishings and the artwork on the walls seem familiar from many a gastro makeover, the friendly bar staff and sizeable beer garden are rather rarer sights. As for the food, it's a cut above normal pub grub though without gastropub pretence (or prices). Battling with the Gowlett for mantle of Peckham's most spruced up pub, the Rye does a fine job.
