how to find it:
If you've got the route worked out you can get here fairly quickly from Angel tube. The easiest way though is from Essex Road BR station: head down New North Road (past Le Montmartre) and keep going. At the turning onto Baring Street take your first left and you'll see the pub. The buses mentioned all go from old street and take a couple of minutes

Eating at The Baring ... we last ate here on 30/3/2007
Everything seems to be home-cooked and prefectly edible, but not exactly outstanding. In the past we've had average sandwiches and overly salty mussels. Still, you can see they're making an effort and we're confident things will only improve.

I live near this place and I love it. Great to see it so busy lately. Honestly, the best Steak Pie I've ever had and great fun at quiz on Thursdays. I also like that we can watch football without being surrounded by morons!only one comment, so far on this pub - why not add your own?
