picture of Roebuck Regular visitors to the Fancyapint? site might undergo déjà vu whilst reading this review. Why? The Roebuck is another refurb in the predictable style consisting of leather sofas, exposed floorboards and unobtrusive dance music - hell, you know the routine by now. Gastro-ish main courses can be enjoyed for around £10 and imported lagers on tap await, along with a couple of ales. The Roebuck is definitely a smart, relaxing pub aimed at a certain audience who clearly love it. After all, Newington Borough is hardly Clapham (yet) and there aren't many places of this kind nearby. For us, however, it is slightly predictable, but the lively atmosphere means it still receives a solid three pint rating.
