This is a great boozer. The friendly staff and locals give it atmosphere, and the two-room bar is small but cosy. It's an Irish pub so racing on the TVs and quality Guinness are the order of the day. The walls are covered in golfing pictures and ephemera - we even spotted an oil painting of the great Lester Piggott. Traditional Irish music sessions happen on Thursdays, and there's a pub quiz on Mondays. The sort of place where an afternoon could happily fly by, it comes recommended.
