picture of The FarwigGrubby looking on the outside, and although surprisingly fairly clean and smart inside, We don't think it's been redecorated since about 1970. Actually, sitting in it feels more like you are in a social club than a pub. It's spacious, plain and they've got a dartboard that's usable - no tables or anything blocked in front of it. It's quite quiet but they're obviously doing their best to attract some life, with special events on three nights of the week. Despite the fact that is one of the only pubs in Bromley with a weekend late licence, We've not known anyone try it out. They have a disco on that we've been past when it's on and it sounds pretty tacky. It's a free house and the prices are good, and wine is on tap, which is quite rare, but no interesting beers. The pub's out of Bromley centre and not it's worth making a particular effort to get to, but do pop in for one if you're nearby. One redeeming factor is it does have a very decent garden, probably the only one we know in Bromley that actually has grass (of the lawn kind anyway).
