This pub's unusual name is not nautical, as you might think: it refers to the historic practice of carriage drivers using anchors to negotiate the steep Shooters Hill in slippery conditions. First visit 3 weeks ago fine. 2nd visit yesterday,not so good.Waited ages for starters to be brought and then only one arrived,when we mentioned this to the young man he just said" wasn't ordered "and walked away.Main course good.Then ordered pudding ,once again the order not complete one item left of.As the place was not at all busy would advise not going during busy times.Did not complain to staff at the time they seemed to be preoccupied with their own conversations
