Another pub that's been gutted and had the changing rooms makeover. The large expanses of blue paint (and the odd Chelsea flag) suggest it's new mode is as a haunt for supporter's of the Blues - well, it's within spitting distance from their ground, so it's hardly surprising. Large tellys dominate both bars, showing music videos when the footy's not on. It's a shame, really, as it's in a lovely 1930's building which had lots of original features. Gone is the wood panelling and the clubby/parlour atmosphere. And it's no longer owned by Fullers, judging by the lack of real ale on the pumps - Guinness was as close as it gets. It still sets out to look after, entertain and perhaps even stimulate the local inhabitants through regular karaoke Fridays and party nights. Sadly, the chess club appears to have gone. We're sure it meets the needs of its audience, but unless you support the Blues, it may not be the one for you.

Hi my name is John, I have just taken over the 7 Stars and thought I’d update you on what’s on now we’ve reopened. The pub is now split into two areas; a sky sports bar and relaxing lounge area . We will show all major sporting events such as Football, World Cup Rugby and Grand Prix’s. We are introducing poker league nights, quiz nights and will have DJ’s on Fridays playing feel good and chill out tunes. Throughout the football season we will be sponsoring a children’s charity by raffling Chelsea tickets once a month with all the proceedings going to charity. Our range of products has improved such as San Miguel on draught and bottled Budvar to name but a few. We have also designed a new menu which we think will cater for all tastes such as our fresh doorstep sandwiches. We will have security working all weekend nights with the door policy being over 21’s, no children, no pets and a smart dress code. An added bonus is our beer garden, ideal for you smokers and when the sun comes, BBQ’s. This is just a taster of what on but you should really come and see for yourself.
only one comment, so far on this pub - why not add your own?
