No real ale, teenagers playing pool, pumping dance music - the Bull on our Saturday evening visit. It's the unremarkable sort of place you find all over outer London, doing a job for locals but not offering strangers much enticement. There are better pubs in Barking so this is one we won't be recommending.

I totally disagree. The Bull Pub is fantastic. The people are friendly, funny and exciting. There is a no tolerance policy - no violence, racism or discrimination is accepted. You will be asked to leave, or thrown out of the door!! I love the Bull Pub, it is beautiful. Live music, digital jukebox with the latest and oldest tracks in all musical genres, pool tables, comedians... and sofas and TVs showing all the sport, including the best live games on Sky Sports. Bring it on. Moreover, all beers are £2.20 for a pint. Also, there is a new restaurant opening inside the Bull on Saturday 27th September serving international food ie Chinese, Indian, Ghanaian (West Africa), Italian, American, Polish and English!! This is the best pub in Barking!
