how to find it:

Wellesley Road tram stop is fairly nearby, or it's a short walk from East Croydon station. Turn left out of the station then take the first right, Dingwall Road. You'll find the pub ahead, on your right, at the junction with Sydenham Road and Bedford Place

A decent, if unremarkable, boozer that's just a little bit off the beaten track geographically. We felt that it had probably seen better days and could do with a slight repaint and overhaul. Mind you, both service and customers were friendly, and we were refunded without any problems when the bar billiards table swallowed our money but ejected no balls. There's also a small pool room upstairs.
