A comfortable, traditional Young's pub off the main drag in Croydon. A fire is lit on winter days and the beer is up to Young's usual good standards. With its attractive tiled exterior, and pleasant atmosphere, this pub is a world away from the themestyle bars in central Croydon. Definitely one for those who prefer not to drink with hairdressers and estate agents.

STOP PRESS: It seems the Tamworth is under grave threat from closure, demolition and conversion into flats. The cause looks lost, so get here while you can.
