For a bar situated near the flashy Hatton Garden you might expect Deux Beers to be a little cleaner or better run. In fact, the punny name is the best thing about this establishment. It's small, loud, dirty, overpriced and poorly serviced. When we were there on a Friday night they had 'run out of gas' so none of the lagers or Guinness could be dispensed. They do have two draught bitters - although only Adnam's was actually available for our visit - and the usual motley selection of bottles. Needless to say the toilets were also dreadful. It's not even worth popping in if you're passing and desperate for something to whet your whistle; with Ye Olde Mitre pub just 5 mins walk down Hatton Garden you'd be better advised to hold on.
