picture of The GreenWe knew we were in familiar gastro territory with this one as soon as we entered the place. Our suspicions were not allayed when we asked for a packet of crisps to accompany our pints and were told "we don't do crisps, but we do have a tapas board". Well, call me old fashioned, but a plate of baby octopus at £2.30 a throw doesn't hit the spot in the same way a packet of cheese and onion does. Still, in its favour, it has a good range of beers, including two real ales and a good selection of bottled Belgium beers, and there's a half decent jukebox. However, we didn't feel there was anything in particular to recommend it over a thousand other similar places.
