Well, this is a funny old place. Trot down the stairs to this basement pub and you will see an appropriate (for a pub called the ship) array of nauticalia, principally featuring photos of Beken's wonderful yachts. But décor aside, this pub is no different from any other average boozer in the area - there's a plasma screen for the footy, there's Pride on the hand pumps, food at lunchtimes and that's about it. It's neither good nor bad, but we can't help feeling that it could be so much more.
