Tiny, rather quaint pub that becomes a haven for a mixed bunch of punters post clocking off. It would be unremarkable in other parts of town but in this location becomes something more rare and precious as the years go by. It's a solid, traditional old boozer - the sort of place that folk take for granted until it closes, then they start complaining. We've already lost too many of them so give this one a look if you're passing, before it's too late. Open at the usual City hours, for beer, banter and sausage rolls from the hot plate.
