This pub's unprepossessing exterior hides an excellent local. A popular, friendly place it serves decent beers - Landlord. Speccy and Greene King IPA on the hand pumps, for instance - and jolly good sarnies too. And if you're feeling in a vino frame of mind there's a cheap, but decent wine list and possibly the cheapest champagne in any London pub. There's always a buzz of conversation going on and the sport on TV is not solely limited to the footy (although it will take precedence). In fact, more than one sort of sport can sometimes be viewed on different tellies simultaneously, catering for a range of tastes. There are also regular live jazz sessions on Sundays. The Hare's a thoroughly decent local boozer, we wish there were more like them.
