our final review

last rating: last rating: 2 pints

Astronomical objects abound in this area, what with the New Globe at Mile End, just up the road and Half Moon along the block, but, this pub, the Old Globe has precedence it is the oldest of them all. It's a lively, solidly local, local, not unfriendly, like some we could mention, offering all the amenities you could ask for - Charles Wells beer on the pumps, lagers, spirits etc, darts, pool, quizzes and Sky TV for the sport (and the music when there's nothing to watch). It offers a bit of something for everyone who lives hereabouts. Just the ticket.

It might be something about its history, an anecdote about the past, what the future plans are for it, or even it's reopened as a pub again - it has been known to happen.

second opinion:

Have your say! - only one comment, so far on this pub - why not add your own?
