Turn right out of Kilburn tube or Brondesbury overland and keep going down Kilburn High Road. It's about 5 minutes from Kilburn and 45 seconds from Brondesbury.
OK, maybe trendy DJ bars aren't actually aimed at anyone over the age of 25, so it's no surprise that we (well, some of us) often find them disappointing. Overpriced bottled beers and spirits, the young beautiful people full of disdain, nowhere to dance - but too loud to chat (OK, so now we really are sounding old). Well, The Good Ship is a trendy DJ bar on Kilburn High Road which seems to get it just right. It has a fair range of drinks, including London Pride on tap, Sky TV for your sports, a 100-CD jukebox that will astonish and amaze in its eclecticism and best of all a separate, stage / dance floor area. Looking through the listings of recent and upcoming events, it's clear that they're going out of their way to provide a range of entertainment with bands and quizzes as well as DJs. You'll have to pay for entry after 10.30, but three quid isn't going to break the bank. So, grab yourself a bottle of Asahi or a pint of Pride, relax and enjoy.
