how to find it:
From Acton Town tube, turn right and walk for a few minutes until you reach the junction with the high street. The pub is on the left. From Ealing Common its about half a mile when turning right out of the station.

This oddly named pub will hold no surprises on the food or drink front for anyone whose ever visited any branch of Wetherspoon's. Even much of the clientele seems as if it comes flat-packed from their warehouse - a scattering of old men and groups of youths having a few cheap drinks (in this instance before going over the road to finish their evening in Redback). However, this one seems to fare better than others by actually having a bit of character, courtesy of the properties unusual structure, rather any spontaneous deviation from the JDW blueprint. It feels like a proper pub here, rather than the last refuge for the desperate and is worth stopping for a quick pint or two.
