picture of T
3-2-1. Oh dear. Only three visits to T and each one has got progressively worse. First the good: the fixed assets are still fine. Situated in a massive warehouse space, also home to a gallery, it's as close to a club as you'll see on Fancyapint. Decked out in a very minimalist style, much of the bar is shrouded in semidarkness and the good music is appreciated by a clientele (perceived as) cutting-edge East Londoners. But onto the bad. Sadly, an increasing number of city types and Essex boys are discovering T, but behaving like drunken buffoons to impress the girls is embarrassing to watch. The entrance also seems to be the location of the bouncer's Annual General Meeting, with scores of them hanging about, intimidating people. The power has gone to their heads and it's unacceptable. Certainly don't bring a bag unless you enjoy being treated like a terrorist. We also don't like being shouted at by bar staff, who clearly think they're destined for greater things, but appear to have an unfortunate mix of zero customer service skills, stupidity and arrogance. We used to like it here, but as Sartre said, 'hell is other people'.
