From Embankment exit onto Villiers Street and walk towards the Strand. Ha! Ha! is on the left. From Charing Cross choose the Villiers Street exit. Its at number 6.

What could've been an interesting multilevelled space underneath Charing Cross station has been sadly rendered like a claustrophobic All Bar One, which just gets worse the busier it becomes. Despite this, it's as popular as anywhere else in the area, filled with the predictable mix of tourists and the after work population. Suffice to say we're not fans. We also can't help feeling that behind the superficially annoying name, the owners of the Ha! Ha! chain are laughing at their customers, too. The joke was clearly on us when a pint and a half of lager came to over £5. There's plenty of choice in the area and we recommend them before the jokes on you, too.
