Where do the beautiful people of Shoreditch go after hours these days? It would appear some of them gravitate towards the Redchurch - one of the newer late-night de rigueur E1/E2 haunts. Unlike other nearby places, it doesn't seem to be favoured exclusively by the nearby city folk, nor the Hoxtonites, but is still frequently busy with a good-natured crowd. Don't be put off by the sea of heads in the entrance of this 70s styled bar - although it often looks full to capacity, the long, thin nature of the place makes the available space seem less than it is. There's de rigueur grubby furniture, along with good music and a few interesting beers on tap - including beers from the Meantime Brewery and Trappist ale in bottles. As long as you don't mind sharing the toilet sinks with members of the opposite sex, you could find yourself having a rather fun time here.
