Crown & Anchor, Edmonton  

Edmonton isn't an area with remarkable pubs - some look terrible and many others have simply shut down. As such, the Crown & Anchor comes as some relief. Just far enough from Tottenham football ground to miss the whole 'home colours' approach (even if it has a few Spurs-related photos dotted about), this is a traditional, local pub catering to its legion of regulars perfectly adequately. It's a bit tatty on the outside but the barman was chatty enough and with a pool table and karaoke on Fridays, its probably the best pub in the area.
