how to find it:
From Canary Wharf, leave the DLR platform, and go through the shopping plaza. Cross the road on the other side and proceed down the inclined ramp straight across. At the bottom turn left and it should be about 100 yards down on the left. From Heron Quay, you should be able to see it. Last time we were there, it was across what looked like a temporary footbridge. The Jubilee Line is right next door. From Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station head out of the west exit and you should see it almost directly in front of you on the right hand side of the dock. (Not far from the clocks.)

Museum in Docklands (440m)
One of the oldest drinking establishments in Canary Wharf, this ABO has been a popular place almost from day one. Its dockside location allows al fresco drinking whenever the weather is fine and, on a warm Friday night, this place is dark with the local suits. And now weekends in Docklands are no longer opportunities to sit down, quietly read the paper and have a pint or two, as it used to be in the recent past, since the Island became a tourist and shopping destination. We all know the ABO formula by now - there are enough imitators to remind us - so walking into this place should be no surprise to most pubgoers. But it must be said the food and drink is decent, if pricey and the service is pretty good and has a late licence towards the end of the week. However, its handy location - midway between Canary Wharf DLR and tube stations - means that this place will always be popular.
