how to find it:
Turn left out of Battersea Park train station, and cross over the road. The pub is about 4 minutes walk.
Put in your mind a pub entirely filled with post office works and you might wonder what it was like. The answer? Pretty good, actually. Locals and barstaff alike were friendly and charming and you could easily imagine spending a good, lively evening in here. The fire places, the green velvet curtains and the dark wood invited you to be comfortable and there was even a leafy patio area to accommodate warmer days. The food looked pretty good too, with a fairly obvious Irish influence and at prices which were entirely reasonable. Weekends finds a quieter, local crowd in situ and overall this is one of the better pubs around Battersea Park Station.
