picture of The BeehiveLike buses, you can walk for miles in Enfield and not come across a pub, then suddenly there are two, practically over the road from each other. The Beehive, in this instance, is the more traditional of the two hidden in this Bush Hill Park enclave. When we say 'traditional', we mean its not a trendy bar, or a gastropub, or an obviously corporate PubCo chain. Instead its an attractive-looking local's pub, with some good outside seating, essentially marred on our visit by a heavy presence of large-screen sports related activity. During certain matches, the place fills almost exclusively with football watching locals - who, not unsurprisingly, are predominantly male. At other times this is a good enough stop-off for a couple of pints, but to be honest if you happen to be in the area, it probably because you already live here.
