how to find it:

Right out of Mansion House and right almost straight away, Garlick Hill is a little street on the river side of Cannon Street. From cannon street turn left and walk along Cannon Street until you almost get to Mansion House. Garlick hill is on the left.

A classic City pub this. It's made up of two rooms: a bar and a small room at the back, both of which have been the scene of many a Square Mile liquid lunch. Although it can get very crowded at the customary lunch and pre-commute times, outside of these hours, the traditional feel of this one provides a welcome break from the hurly-burly of the City. As iconic, old-fashioned - and rare - as a City gent in a bowler hat, make sure you give this one a look whilst you still can.
