how to find it:

This is relatively - we do mean relatively - easy to access, compared with many pubs on the broads. You could walk there from Haddiscoe station on the Norwich/Great Yarmouth-Ipswich line, or failing that, the pub is located on the main Great Yarmouth-Beccles road, the A143.

sorry no picture of this pub
A really fine early 16th century inn that once served a ferry over the River Waveney now replaced by a bridge), the Bell is a good example of Broadlands hostelries at their finest. It's the sort of pub we'd love to have close at hand. It's spacious, clean and well-run, and caters to locals of all ages and passing tourists (with moorings nearby). In addition to several rooms indoors, characterised by low roofs and oak beams, and a restaurant area, there's a great beer garden outdoors, overlooking the river. Some good beers, friendly service. What more could you ask for?
