how to find it:

Head out of the station and cross onto Prince of Wales Road. Walk up the street to the end and take your first right onto Upper King Street that will eventually turn into Wensum Rd, where the Ribs of Beef will appear on the left. Total walking time is around 10 - 15mins.

A homely haven that is a strong challenger for the competitive title of best pub in Norwich. Expertly managed by a local family, the Ribs has a comfortable and warm interior with oldie style wall adornments and thick padded chairs, while a small balcony area perched on the banks of the Wensum allows a picturesque view of the water that can also be enjoyed in the downstairs restaurant. But where the Ribs really excels is in its excellent ale selection that has chalked up 5,000 different tipples in the past 21 years a thoroughly believable claim when one discovers at least ten different choices on offer at any one visit (and of course, the standard lagers and bitters). Combined with a friendly vibe, nice staff, good food and reasonable prices you have the right mix for a truly flawless pub.
