picture of Garibaldi
Giuseppe Garibaldi, a 19th century Italian general who helped to unify his country, has had among other things a Brazilian city, a fish and a biscuit resembling squashed flies between two sheets of cardboard named after him. A Fuller's pub in St. Albans can be added to that list. The Garibaldi is situated among a gaggle of pubs to the south of the centre, across the road from the beer garden of the White Lion to be precise. There are five ales on tap, food is served throughout the day, and to enjoy summer weather there is a conservatory area and a small garden.
