When we first walked past this place, we didn't realise it was a bar. Mainly because it looks like a shop, and by day, sells flowers from the front half. Roses can be yours for £2.99 a bunch. Bargain. When the sun goes down though, the flowers are replaced with shiny silver garden furniture outside, wooden inside, and the bar serving up the drinks still feels like... Well, like it's sprung up by accident in a shop. During the week this is quite a chilled affair, but come the weekend, DJs drill R&B into your brain and 18-25 year-olds stand around eyeing each other up, drinking WKD and Stella. It's like you're in a bad Spanish resort bar, only the beer's twice the price and it's lashing down outside. Plus points? It serves alcohol, opens till late and the toilets have seats. If you've just twisted your ankle, desperately need a drink and can't walk another step, the beer's cold. If you can carry on walking though, do so.
