Certainly one of the most striking venues in the city centre, Café Bruxelles is worth a visit alone for the magnificent domed ceiling which dominates the ground floor bar. Of course, it is best to appreciate your surroundings with something from the bar, and lovers of Belgian beers have plenty to choose from here. There are also plenty of other draught and bottled options for your delectation. It is perhaps a shame that in order to maximise seating capacity there are sofas placed in the middle of the room, creating a slightly cluttered feel, but it beats standing up. Downstairs is the restaurant section.
