Really whisky is what this place is all about - with vintage malts aplenty, and extensive ranges of various vintages. It's a jolly agreeable place to pop in for a 18-year old Tallasker or a 23-year Highland Park or whatever. But it's by no means just for malt buffs. There are a few real ales on hand pumps, and a food menu that also has a strongly Scottish aspect, with a separate dining area at the back of the pub. It's smart, and service is efficient, knowledgeable and cheery. The overall atmosphere is of somewhere that is cultured, sophisticated but accessible.
