This pub, a former bank, is unfortunately, a rather characterless and generic chain pub - kind of like a Scottish Wetherspoon but without any real ales. We did wonder mischievously if there was any equivalent place anywhere in the Czech Republic, called "Beer", with a similar themed decoration to this place: all shiny metal and mirrors, with the names of unremarkable small towns in the UK (perhaps lifted from the verses of < a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It's_Grim_Up_North>the JAMM's "It's Grim Up North") listed in big letters all over the walls. As for the pivo provided at Pivo: the less said the better, really. Although the menu has a section labelled "ale passport", the contents thereof are mainly naff, and fairly chemical, drinks, mostly (and wilfully inappropriately) of the Anglosphere. There's a food menu, with the sort of offers - steak days, curry clubs - that this sort of pub tends to offer. The intended clientele seems to be those a few years over legal drinking age, who either think having a wannabe Czech bar that is nothing of the sort about is the height of sophistication, or who are thinking of heading off to Prague on a stag or hen night.
