Head right out of tube along Knightsbridge, turning right down Wilton Place. First right will take you on to the quiet mews of Kinnerton Street The Wilton Arms will be in front of you.

picture of Wilton ArmsGiven a spit and polish since being taken over by Shepherd Neame, this one has lost none of its attributes (though the sharp glare from the large number of lamps around the place did feel a tad intrusive). Good beer and a TV that's handy but doesn't dominate the pub. One point though - the food's overpriced. Apart from that, it's a decent enough pub. Its local competitors may attract a lot of punters, but there's usually more chance of a seat in this one.
