From Leicester Square: Go into the Square itself and head toward the Swiss Centre (you'll know it by the bells hanging on the outside which go off every hour) just before you get to it, turn right into Leicester Street and it's at the end. From Piccadilly: Again, head toward Leicester Square. When you get to the Swiss Centre, go past it and turn left into Leicester Street - can't miss it.

We will never forget Crooked Surgeon, but not because this is a good place. We will always remember it as the place where we tried to have a pint and were completely and totally ignored by the wait staff. The bar wasn't crowded and more than 3 other tables were served after we came in. Our inside joke is we must have been sitting at a table where we weren't supposed to be (we were seated in the middle of the room). We finally gave up and left. As we were walking out the door, the waitress walked by, looked us in the eyes and said "thank you"!!! I looked at her and said "FOR WHAT?!!" and we walked out! In other words, DO NOT GO!

I thinks this pub is great! It's a nice traditional pub tucked away behind Leicester Square. The decor is good and the service fantastic with a great choice of food and drink available. It also has a fantastic atmosphere for sports fixtures. I highly recommend it.
