picture of Red Herring
Done up (since the Old Monk showed up next door) to try and compete and so much more popular with the lady suits now. It's a Fullers so the food is good but you can't help feeling that the interior design ideas of the Fine Line portfolio is spilling over into Fullers pub conversions (sofas and blonde wood). The main restaurant area downstairs is often locked which can be a bit annoying if you can't find somewhere to sit upstairs. Stocks 3 Fullers beers and has 3 TV screens and a Barco showing sports. Friendly staff and busy weekday lunchtimes (like everywhere round here). To be honest, though, there are better juicers in the vicinity.

Pub grub and some "international/vegetarian" options Prices extortionate - £9 for thai beef salad (stir fry on lettuce) and £7 for a salami sandwich (2 pieces brown bread and a slice of salami). Gammon, Egg & Chips decent size portion but could have been cooked better at home for a lot less ££ Food not good and definitely not value for money. Bar staff can't give you any advice about food on menu which didn't help when trying to pick something). Left feeling hungry and ripped off.
